Come create a trio of Christmas paper projects with instructor Avery Applegate and host Cathy Rivas on Sunday, November 9th 1:00pm-4:00pm. The class is limited to 12 participants, so be sure to register in order to save your spot! No need to bring anything ... all supplies will be provided along with snacks and beverages!
#1 FOLDED BOOK CHRISTMAS TREE
Learn how you can take an old paperback book and turn it into a vintage repurposed Christmas decoration through simple origami folds. These trees can sit flat on a table or may be mounted on a base for more height. Keep it basic or bedazzle it to your heart's desire!
#2 PAPER BAG SNOWFLAKE DECOR
Remember the days of folding paper, cutting into the edges, and then opening it to reveal a snowflake? This project takes it up a level to create large 3-dimensional snowflakes perfect for accenting a wall, window, or mantle. Once you see how easy this is, you will want to create a billion of them!
#3 PAPER STAR ORNAMENTS
With 5 sheets of paper and a little glue you can create perfect 5 pointed stars to hang on your tree, from your windows, or to adorn your gifts to others. Simple folding techniques lay the groundwork for these stars. Sizes are easily controlled to give a variety of large and small stars!
